Ingredients:

  •  Beans           1cup [  clean and remove waste parts ]
  • Tamato          1/2 cup
  • Rice               1cup
  • Coconut milk 2&1/2 cups (boiled)
  • Cashew          10-15
  • Green chilli    4 no. (slit)
  • Red chilli       1no.
  • Onion slit into strips   1no.
  • ginger-garlic paste     2TBSP 
  • Coriander finely chopped
  • Cumin seeds       1/2 tbsp
  • curry leafes
  • Oil                       3tbsp
  • Turmeric             1/2 tbsp
  •  garam masala     2tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • lemon to taste (optional)

CARROT RICE

CARROT RICE

CARROT RICE WITH ONION RAITA...

Ingredients:

 Rice - 1 cup
Carrot(big) - 2(grated)
Cinnamon stick - 1
Cloves - 2
Onion - 1 medium (finely chopped)
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt - to taste

Coriander seeds(daniya) powder- 1 ½ tsp
Cumin seeds - 3/4 tsp
Dry Chilli - 1
green chilli - 2
Coconut - 1 tbsp (grated)

Recipe:
  1. Steam rice in a cooker and allow it to cool.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add Cinnamon stick, Cloves, Onion, saute till raw smell of onion goes.
  3. Add Carrot and fry till raw smell of carrot goes. If necessary, add some water and fry.
  4. Now add Rice, Ground masala items, Salt and mix well.
  5. Then remove from heat and serve.  
         It tasts well with onion raita, and with any vegitable fry..
